IndoSpace has announced an investment of over ₹500 crore to develop a 66-acre logistics park in Bhiwandi, near Mumbai, expanding its warehousing footprint with over 1.7 million sq. ft. of Grade A logistics space.
Strategically located near the Mumbai-Nagpur Samruddhi Expressway, the park will serve high-growth sectors including e-commerce, FMCG, automotive, and third-party logistics. It will offer a mix of ready-to-move and build-to-suit facilities, all developed in line with ESG standards to promote green infrastructure and sustainability.
This development strengthens IndoSpace’s long-term commitment to Maharashtra, where it has already invested close to ₹3,000 crore. With this addition, IndoSpace’s pan-India portfolio surpasses 60 million sq. ft., supporting over 150 companies and aligning with key national initiatives such as PM Gati Shakti and Make in India.
The announcement comes amid a 42% YoY increase in logistics leasing across India, with Mumbai alone contributing 7.5 million sq. ft. in H1 2025. Bhiwandi continues to be a vital warehousing hub due to its proximity to Mumbai, Thane, and Pune, and its well-established logistics ecosystem.
