Mittal Pigments Fuels Industry Growth Zinc Dust Unit in Rajasthan

Mittal Pigments Private Limited's Zinc Dust Manufacturing Unit in Kota's Indraprastha Industrial Area boosts industry. This project will meet expanding zinc dust demand across industries with a production capacity of 2,000 to 4,000 tonnes per month (TPM) at a cost of Rs. 6.0 crores.

Zinc dust manufacture is organized. Strong reducing agents like charcoal or aluminum convert zinc oxide to zinc metal. Distillation purifies zinc metal, and condensation forms zinc dust. The last process needs careful cooling and packaging to generate high-quality zinc dust for varied usage.

Flexible zinc dust is utilized in several industries. It is an important pigment in paints, coatings, rubber, plastics, and steel and other metal anti-corrosion coatings. It synthesizes zinc oxide and zinc sulfate, demonstrating its chemical flexibility.
