MP Goes All In on MSMEs with 81 New Industrial Areas!

The Madhya Pradesh government’s MSME department is developing 81 new industrial areas across various districts to expand the state's land bank for small industries and drive regional industrialization. The initiative aims to provide affordable industrial land, with five areas already sanctioned and under development. Land transfer processes are currently underway in multiple districts.

According to MSME Commissioner Dilip Kumar, the goal is to ensure every assembly constituency without an existing industrial zone receives access to developed or undeveloped land, bringing micro, small, and medium enterprises closer to local markets. Equipped with essential infrastructure—including roads, power, water, and drainage—these zones will support key sectors like food processing, textiles, engineering, and agro-industries, ultimately addressing land constraints and boosting local employment.
