Siegwerk, a global leader in printing inks and coatings, has announced an investment of ₹350 crore over the next three years to expand its operations in India, reinforcing its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and supply chain excellence.
A significant portion of the investment will go towards scaling up its Global Innovation and Capability Centre (GICC), positioning it as a key global hub for research and development, regulatory compliance, digital operations, and customer support. The GICC will focus on delivering advanced packaging ink solutions that meet stringent safety and circularity standards.
As part of its ongoing expansion, Siegwerk has also enhanced its blending facility in Pune with new automation systems to boost supply chain efficiency—particularly amid rising demand for water-based inks. The broader infrastructure development includes a new National Distribution Centre in Tauru and 14 colour matching centres across India.
Commenting on the announcement, CEO Manjusha Singh said:
“This investment is not just about expansion—it’s about shaping the future of packaging in India.”
