Snowman Logistics Adds Two New Cold Storage Hubs

Snowman Logistics, India’s leading integrated temperature-controlled logistics provider, has commenced operations at two new owned cold storage facilities in Kolkata and Krishnapatnam, further strengthening its nationwide cold chain network. The newly launched facilities offer a capacity of 5,630 pallets in Kolkata and 3,927 pallets in Krishnapatnam, increasing the company’s total capacity to 1,50,754 pallets across 43 sites in 20 cities.

In addition to its warehousing capabilities, Snowman operates 296 refrigerated vehicles and leases over 325, creating a robust, end-to-end cold chain network that ensures temperature integrity from source to consumption. The new facilities are equipped with advanced automation technologies to enhance operational efficiency and cater to a wide range of industries, including seafood, dairy, ice cream, ready-to-eat meals, QSR supplies, bakery and confectionery, fruits and vegetables, and pharmaceuticals.

This expansion highlights Snowman’s continued commitment to meeting India’s rising demand for cold chain infrastructure, especially in emerging consumption hubs. It also reaffirms the company’s market leadership and its strategic focus on pan-India growth in the temperature-controlled logistics sector.
