Vedanta Aluminium has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Singhal Steel & Power and SCOT-AL Metcon to establish downstream aluminium manufacturing facilities at its upcoming Aluminium Park in Jharsuguda.
The Aluminium Park is aimed at enhancing value addition within the aluminium sector while promoting the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The initiative is also expected to strengthen Odisha’s position as a key hub for aluminium production and downstream industries.
According to the company, the project is likely to attract investments exceeding ₹500 crore and create around 1,500 direct and indirect employment opportunities in the state.
