Zinc Park Rising: HZL & Tripura Group Seal the Deal in Bhilwara

Hindustan Zinc Ltd has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Tripura Group to operationalise a manufacturing unit at its Zinc Park in Khankhala, located in Bhilwara district, Rajasthan.

Under the agreement, Hindustan Zinc will ensure assured raw material linkage to Tripura Group’s proposed facility at the Zinc Industrial Park, supported by a long-term offtake commitment. The partnership reflects a shared vision to strengthen the downstream zinc ecosystem, with investment and production plans aimed at enhancing scale, operational efficiency, and sustainable industrial growth in the region.

The Zinc Park project was first unveiled at the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit in December 2024 by Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Anil Agarwal, Chairman of Vedanta Group.

The proposed park is strategically planned near Hindustan Zinc’s existing mining and smelting operations at Chanderiya, Dariba, and Debari, with the objective of promoting value-added manufacturing and attracting further investments into Rajasthan’s metals and materials sector.
