Biogas Boom! Naidu's ₹102 Cr Plan Powers North Andhra.

On November 11, 2025, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu highlighted the rapid industrial development anticipated in North Andhra, particularly in Vizianagaram, through initiatives such as the establishment of biogas plants.

During a virtual ceremony, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for biogas plants to be developed by PVS Rammohann Industries in Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts. With a total investment of ₹102 crore, the plants will utilise agricultural waste to generate power, initially processing 50 tonnes of waste per day.

The event was attended by key officials, including Minister for Tribal Welfare Gummadi Sandhya Rani and Vizianagaram MLA Aditi Vijayalakshmi.
