Gandhinagar Invites Bids for ₹167 Crore Sewage Plant

The Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation (GMC) has issued a tender for the construction of a 72 MLD sewage treatment plant (STP) at Sargasan, under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM). The project is valued at ₹166.98 crore.

Scope of Work:

Laying of a 200-meter-long, 1800 mm diameter trunk sewer line using micro-tunneling, connecting an existing manhole to the proposed Terminal Sewage Pumping Station (TSPS)

Construction of the TSPS, including all associated electromechanical works, Laying of the rising main from the TSPS to the STP, Complete construction of the STP, Conveyance of treated water to the Pethapur power plant and Swarnim Park

The project timeline includes a 21-month construction period, followed by a 3-month trial run, and 15 years of operation and maintenance post the Commercial Operation Date (COD).

The last date for bid submission is 27 October, 2025.
