Laurus Labs Secures 531 Acres for Mega Pharma Zone

Laurus Labs has been allotted 531.77 acres of land in IP Rambilli Phase-II, Anakapalli district, by the Andhra Pradesh government, marking a major step forward in the company’s expansion strategy.

The land will be used to develop the Laurus Pharma Zone (LPZ)—a large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing hub. Laurus Labs plans to invest ₹5,630 crore over the next eight years, in three phases, to establish multiple manufacturing units at the site.

This strategic investment is projected to generate employment for approximately 6,350 people and significantly bolster Laurus Labs' long-term manufacturing capabilities.

In a statement, the company said, “This land allotment provides Laurus Labs with a key asset to support its long-term expansion plans in pharmaceutical manufacturing.”
