Stryker Strengthens Global R&D with New Bengaluru Facility

Stryker, a global leader in medical technology, has expanded its research and development footprint in India by inaugurating a new 140,000 sq. ft. facility in Whitefield, Bengaluru.

This addition complements the company’s existing 220,000 sq. ft. R&D campus in Gurugram, further strengthening its presence in the region. The new state-of-the-art facility brings together cross-functional teams and advanced labs focused on robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), digital innovation, and product security.

A key highlight of the Bengaluru hub is its medical experience center, designed to foster collaboration with healthcare professionals. It showcases critical care solutions such as ICU beds, stretchers, ambulance cots, and automated external defibrillators (AEDs).

“We’re growing with purpose—expanding our capabilities to innovate, collaborate, and deliver solutions that address the needs of our customers and patients worldwide,” said Ram Rangarajan, Vice President of the Stryker Global Technology Center.

With its focus on cutting-edge technologies and talent development, the Bengaluru center is poised to drive innovation, attract top talent, and reinforce Stryker’s mission to improve healthcare globally.
