Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved an infrastructure development and disaster relief package worth ₹183.71 crore for multiple districts across the state.
The approved funding will support a wide range of projects, including road construction and strengthening, water supply schemes, housing facilities for government personnel, and grants to Panchayati Raj institutions. A significant portion of the allocation has been directed toward road infrastructure, with ₹12.90 crore sanctioned for the upgradation of the Nandprayag–Ghat–Sutol–Kanol motor road and ₹11.15 crore for the widening and strengthening of roads in the Kaladhungi constituency. Additionally, ₹6.55 crore has been allocated for a water supply project in Chamoli district.
The Chief Minister has also sanctioned ₹11.29 crore for the construction of residential accommodations for staff of the Prosecution Department in Haridwar. These development initiatives are aimed at improving connectivity, strengthening essential services, and ensuring smooth arrangements for major events such as the Shri Nanda Devi Raj Jat Yatra.
