Prestige Comes to Medavakkam: A ₹5,000 Crore Expansion

Prestige Group, one of India’s leading real estate developers, has acquired a 25-acre land parcel in Medavakkam, Chennai, marking a significant step in its expansion strategy in the southern market.

The site offers substantial development potential, with an estimated built-up area of around five million sq. ft. and a projected revenue potential exceeding ₹5,000 crore. The project will be planned in line with the Group’s emphasis on large-scale developments, efficient design, and high-quality execution.

Medavakkam is an emerging residential hub, benefiting from its proximity to the OMR IT corridor, enhanced road connectivity, and upcoming metro rail access. These factors, along with the area’s affordability and expanding social infrastructure, are expected to drive sustained demand for housing. Prestige Group has stated that it will maintain its established standards of design excellence, construction quality, and timely delivery, with further project details to be announced in due course.
