Roads, Water, Health: CM Sukhu's ₹81.3 Cr Push Transforms Anni

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated 21 development projects worth ₹81.30 crore in the Anni Assembly Constituency during a public meeting held in Bagasarahan. These projects span key infrastructure areas such as roads, drinking water, irrigation, healthcare, education, renewable energy, and community development.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister criticized the central BJP government for withholding ₹1,600 crore in dues to the state, calling it an unjust financial blockade. “Himachal is an integral part of the country and deserves fair and equal development,” he asserted.

Among the major announcements were the double-laning of the Aut-Luhri NH-305 and the construction of the Jalori tunnel, expected to reduce travel time between Anni and Kullu to just four hours. To promote sustainable transportation, the CM also announced a 50% subsidy on e-carts for youth.

Additional measures include upgrading the Anni panchayat to a nagar panchayat, developing a nature park in Bagasarahan with ₹1 lakh in assistance, and establishing a CBSE-affiliated Rajiv Gandhi Day Boarding School in Anni.
