Agra's Water Revolution: Rs 185 Crore AMRUT 2.0 Mega-Project

Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam has issued a tender for the development of water supply infrastructure under the Agra Water Supply Re-Organisation Scheme (Trans Yamuna Zone-I & II) – Package 2, as part of the AMRUT 2.0 programme.

The project, valued at Rs 185.49 crore, involves a turnkey scope of work, including surveying, soil investigation, engineering, and construction of essential water supply components. These include RCC overhead tanks (OHTs), zonal pumping stations (ZPSs), clear water reservoirs (CWRs), pumping stations, rising and feeder mains, and a distribution network integrated with SCADA-based automation. Additional facilities such as a chlorination room, meter room, panel room, staff quarters, boundary walls, and site development are also included.

The contract comprises a three-month trial run, followed by a defect liability period of 12 months for civil works and 24 months for electrical and mechanical (E/M) works.

The deadline for bid submission is 03 April 2025.
