Final 50MW Online: NTPC's Shajapur Solar Project Complete!

NTPC has successfully commissioned the final 50 MW unit of the Shajapur Solar Project in Madhya Pradesh, bringing its total installed capacity to 77,461.50 MW.

The project is spearheaded by NTPC Renewable Energy (NTPC REL), a subsidiary of NTPC, further expanding the renewable energy portfolio of India’s largest power generation company.

According to NTPC, the "second and final 50 MW capacity of the 105 MW Shajapur Solar Project (Unit-I) in Shajapur Solar Park, M.P., developed by NTPC Renewable Energy (NTPC REL), has been declared commercially operational."

The first 55 MW unit has been operational since November 29, 2024.
