NBCC Issues ₹142 Cr Tender for IIM Vizag Hostels

NBCC (India) Limited has invited bids for the construction of hostels, a dining building, and allied infrastructure at the permanent campus of IIM Visakhapatnam.

The project, with an estimated contract value of ₹142.17 crore, will be developed at Gambheeram Village, Anandapuram Mandal, Andhra Pradesh, and covers a proposed construction area of 19,842 sq m. The scope of work includes the construction of two student hostels with a capacity of 300 students each, a dining block with kitchen facilities, and an executive hostel, along with associated infrastructure and utilities.

Construction will be executed as per Good for Construction (GFC) drawings, encompassing structural, architectural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, IT systems, finishing works, and landscaping. The boundary wall around the site has already been completed, and Phase I of the campus, which includes utilities and sports facilities supporting a student strength of 665, is complete. The Director’s Residence and Faculty Residences have also been completed and are operational.

The bid submission deadline is 09 February 2026.
