A Local Commitment: Kärcher's WD 3–17L Boosts 'Make in India'

Kärcher India has unveiled the WD 3–17L, a locally manufactured wet-and-dry vacuum cleaner, reinforcing its commitment to the Government of India’s 'Make in India' initiative. The move aims to enhance product availability, lower costs, and ensure faster access for customers across the country.

Equipped with a 17-litre container, 1000W motor, and a one-piece cartridge filter, the WD 3–17L enables effortless transition between wet and dry cleaning. The unit also features a 2-metre suction hose, Clips floor nozzle, and an integrated blower function, making it ideal for both household and workshop use.

Compact in design for easy storage and transport, the product is available via Kärcher’s official webshop, Amazon, Flipkart, and select retail outlets. The company plans to scale production to meet growing demand, combining German engineering with local manufacturing efficiencies to offer Indian consumers enhanced value, service, and accessibility.
