Artificial Electronics Intelligent Materials (AEIM) has acquired 11.28 acres in the Kosala Industrial Park, Raipur, to develop a state-of-the-art semiconductor materials manufacturing facility.
Supported by Chhattisgarh’s industry-friendly policy—offering capital subsidies of up to 40%—the project marks a key step toward establishing the region as a semiconductor hub. Construction is set to begin immediately, with the first phase targeted for completion by May 2026. AEIM has already placed equipment orders with top manufacturers in Japan, South Korea, and the United States. The upcoming facility will produce advanced semiconductor materials, including sapphire ingots and wafers, as well as next-generation electronic substrates.
“This world-class facility will help establish Raipur as a recognized semiconductor hub,” said Vishaal Nandam, Executive Director of AEIM. The Rs 10,000-crore investment is expected to create more than 4,000 high-skill jobs. AEIM specializes in semiconductor materials and advanced electronic components, supported by strong R&D capabilities across its existing operations.
