Amazon is expanding its logistics network in Tamil Nadu with the addition of two new fulfillment centers (FCs) in the Tiruvallur and Krishnagiri districts. This expansion is part of a broader strategy across India to accommodate the expected surge in demand during the upcoming festive season.
Srikant Sree Ram, Director of Amazon Fresh, Amazon India, also highlighted that the company has launched 12 new FCs and six sort centers nationwide as part of its ongoing growth efforts.
With these two new facilities, Amazon's logistics network in Tamil Nadu now includes four FCs, four sort centers, around 150 delivery stations, and over 1,500 "I Have Space" store partners.
“At Amazon Fresh, we are committed to offering a wide range of products—from premium fruits to wellness essentials—while ensuring customers enjoy the convenience of fast and reliable delivery,” said Ram. “This combination of selection, quality, and speed is why we believe Amazon Fresh and Everyday Essentials have become go-to destinations for festive shopping.”
