Apple Taps Wipro & LMW: Expanding Indian Supplier Network

Tech giant Apple is reportedly in discussions with Wipro Enterprises and Lakshmi Machine Works (LMW) to onboard them as potential suppliers, strengthening its supply chain presence in India.

According to a report by the Economic Times (ET), these companies are the latest additions to Apple's growing list of Indian suppliers.

“Apple is in advanced talks with Wipro Enterprises and in preliminary discussions with Lakshmi Machine Works as part of its strategy to diversify and de-risk its supply chain,” sources revealed.

Apple is engaging with these firms to source parts and components for its operations.

Other Indian companies that have already joined or are in the process of joining Apple’s supply chain include Tata Group, Motherson Group, Aequs, and Bharat Forge.

Sources indicate that Apple’s increasing collaboration with Indian suppliers is a clear sign of its deepening commitment to the Indian market, amid ongoing global trade uncertainties.
