Bharat Electronics (BEL) has successfully secured work orders amounting to Rs 847.84 crore, including a significant project from the Finance Ministry.
BEL has been awarded a substantial order valued at Rs 665.84 crore from the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), Ministry of Finance, for the implementation and management of IT infrastructure.
The scope of this project encompasses the supply, installation, and maintenance of IT and networking infrastructure, as well as field IT support and centralized management and monitoring. Maintenance support will be provided for a duration of five years, including the implementation period.
This achievement marks one of the most significant civilian projects acquired through competitive means by BEL in the current financial year (FY).
In addition, the company has secured orders totaling Rs 182 crore for miscellaneous spares and services. With this contract, BEL's cumulative orders for the current FY have reached an impressive Rs 28,494 crore.
