CtrlS Powers Up Madhya Pradesh with ₹500 Crore Data Center

CtrlS Datacenters has announced a Rs 500 crore investment to establish a state-of-the-art data centre in Badwai IT Park, Madhya Pradesh. The project milestone was marked by a groundbreaking ceremony held during the Tech Growth Conclave 2025 on April 27 in Indore.

Spread across five acres, the upcoming facility will generate employment for approximately 200 people through its phased development. Engineered for 24/7 operational reliability and high uptime, the data centre is poised to become a cornerstone of the region’s digital infrastructure.

With a national footprint that includes 250 MW (IT load) of data centre capacity across Tier-I cities such as Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Noida, and Kolkata, CtrlS is now strategically expanding into Tier-II markets. The company already operates Edge data centres in Patna and Lucknow, with additional sites planned in GIFT City (Ahmedabad), Bhubaneswar, and Guwahati.

The new Badwai facility will support high-performance cloud computing, AI workloads, and data-intensive applications—reinforcing the region’s evolving technological ecosystem. Its development is aligned with Madhya Pradesh’s forward-looking policies, including the IT, ITeS, and ESDM Investment Promotion Policy 2023, which provides up to a 25% capital expenditure subsidy, and the Global Capability Centres Policy 2025, aimed at attracting more than 50 global tech hubs.

Designed to be AI-ready, the data centre will incorporate advanced cooling systems and stringent security protocols to meet current and future demands in digital infrastructure.
