Infrastructure Overdrive: PM Modi’s ₹12.9k Cr Gift to Meerut

Narendra Modi inaugurated development projects worth approximately ₹12,930 crore in Meerut, underscoring the government’s emphasis on completing infrastructure initiatives within set timelines once their foundation stones are laid.

Addressing a public gathering, the Prime Minister said improved law and order in the region, along with safer travel conditions, has strengthened confidence among residents and investors alike. He was joined at the event by Yogi Adityanath.

Modi also highlighted the rapid expansion of metro networks across the country, noting that while metro services operated in only five cities during previous Congress-led governments, they now run in over 25 cities nationwide.
