Kaynes Electronics Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd. (KEMPL), a subsidiary of Kaynes Technology India, will establish a state-of-the-art electronics manufacturing unit in Bhopal with an investment of ₹352 crore under the Madhya Pradesh Semiconductor Policy 2025.
The new facility, located at Badwai IT Park, will span five acres and is expected to generate over 1,000 employment opportunities. Commercial production is scheduled to begin by mid-2026, according to the company’s official statement.
The plant will feature advanced Surface Mount Technology (SMT) lines to manufacture high-precision electronic assemblies and finished products for diverse sectors including automotive, aerospace, defence, medical, industrial automation, IoT, and space technology.
“This will be Kaynes’ first major facility in Central India, enhancing our existing network of eight manufacturing sites across the country,” said Raghu Panicker, CEO of Kaynes Technology India Ltd.
The project is being supported by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Madhya Pradesh, through its Centre for Collaborative Industrial Partnerships (CCIP). Additional Chief Secretary Sanjay Dubey emphasized that the investment underscores industry confidence in the state’s forward-looking semiconductor policy and its growing role in India's tech manufacturing landscape.
