AWL Agri Business (formerly Adani Wilmar) is planning strategic expansion into South and Central India through acquisitions in the condiments and kitchen essentials segments, according to MD & CEO Angshu Mallick. The company, known for flagship brands such as Fortune and Kohinoor, currently has a strong presence in North and West India.
AWL closed FY25 with a revenue of ₹63,672 crore, with its food business crossing ₹6,000 crore, contributing 10% to the topline. The edible oils segment, led by Fortune, remains the core of the business, accounting for approximately 78% of revenue, while industry essentials like oleochemicals contribute around 12%.
Looking ahead, AWL is exploring new categories, including organic foods and cold-pressed edible oils, as it diversifies its portfolio. The company has earmarked over ₹1,000 crore in capital expenditure for FY26 to enhance production capacities.
Mallick projects mid-to-high teens revenue growth in FY26, driven by rising consumption, favorable edible oil prices, and positive macroeconomic trends.
