Crown Defence has inaugurated an indigenous printed circuit board (PCB) assembly facility at Verna, Goa, aimed at strengthening domestic capabilities in high-reliability electronics for defence platforms and select civil applications.
Established under the Group’s aviation vertical, Aviatech Enterprises (AEPL), the facility is designed to support mission-critical electronics across aviation, maritime, and land systems. Operations are scheduled to begin in March 2026, catering to both domestic and international programmes. The facility will provide high-precision PCB assembly for board sizes ranging from 80×80 mm to 460×460 mm, with thicknesses from 0.4 mm to 8 mm, adhering to stringent reliability and traceability standards required for strategic applications.
This initiative addresses the growing demand for domestic PCB assembly solutions, with India’s PCBA market projected to reach USD 6.3 billion at a 16% CAGR. The new facility complements Crown Defence’s existing capabilities across defence and industrial sectors.
