Sameera Warehouster, a leading warehousing solutions provider based in Chennai, has inked a deal to develop a Built-To-Suit (BTS) facility in Ennathur, strategically located along the Bangalore-Chennai Highway. This new warehouse is custom-designed to meet the specific needs of a prominent automobile component manufacturer, enhancing the company's role in supporting the automotive supply chain in southern India.
In addition to the BTS facility, Sameera Warehouster has also acquired a 137-acre site in Chengalpet, a rapidly developing industrial hub. This site offers the potential for up to 3 million square feet of warehousing and industrial space, making it a significant asset in the company's expansion strategy. The Chengalpet site’s proximity to GST Road, just 1 km away, ensures excellent connectivity, making it an ideal location for manufacturing and automobile companies looking to optimize logistics and operations.
Development at the Chengalpet site is set to commence soon, marking a new chapter in Sameera Warehouster’s growth. Sandeep Chadha, Managing Director of Sameera Warehouster, emphasized the strategic importance of these developments, stating, "The facility on the Bangalore-Chennai Highway is more than just an industrial building; it is a strategic asset that will enable our clients to optimize their operations and expand their business presence."
The company plans to invest approximately ₹650 crore in the Chengalpet project, covering both land acquisition and development costs. This significant investment reflects Sameera Warehouster’s commitment to building robust infrastructure that supports business growth and innovation across various sectors.
With these strategic acquisitions and developments, Sameera Warehouster is poised to strengthen its position in the warehousing and industrial space, catering to the growing needs of the manufacturing and automobile industries in Tamil Nadu and beyond.
