Schneider Electric Partners with Maharashtra for Smart Water Management

Schneider Electric has joined forces with Maharashtra's Water Resources Department (WRD) to revolutionize water and wastewater management through advanced digital technologies. This initiative aligns with the Ministry of Jal Shakti's mission to boost technology adoption for sustainable water practices across India. The collaboration aims to enhance stakeholder awareness and promote the use of cutting-edge digital solutions to improve efficiency and sustainability in water management.

Central to the partnership is Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure platform, which provides real-time data, analytics, and professional services designed to optimize water usage, minimize leaks, and improve distribution systems. The platform’s advanced diagnostics and IT/OT integration are set to future-proof water management operations, making them more efficient and resilient.

In addition to technological advancements, Schneider Electric is working with the Ministry of Jal Shakti to develop a skill development program. This initiative is designed to equip eco-warriors with expertise in modern water governance, operations, and wastewater management, emphasizing the application of digital technologies for sustainable water solutions.
