Vanguard to Establish Major Global Capability Centre in Hyderabad

Vanguard, the US-based investment management giant overseeing USD 10 trillion in global assets, has unveiled plans to establish a global capability centre (GCC) in Hyderabad.

Set to open later this year, the new facility will create 2,300 jobs over the next four years. This announcement follows a meeting between Vanguard’s CEO, Salim Ramji, and Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, along with key state officials. Vanguard intends to hire engineers with expertise in artificial intelligence, data analytics, and mobile engineering for the Hyderabad office.

A government statement highlighted that Vanguard’s office in India marks a key milestone in the company's global expansion. It builds on over a decade of partnerships with third-party collaborators, enabling Vanguard to tap into local talent and increase the proportion of technology professionals in its global workforce.

The Hyderabad office will function as an innovation hub, supporting Vanguard’s IT operations, driving its AI strategy, enhancing data analytics capabilities, and advancing the company's mobile-first initiatives.
