"Mega SWD Makeover: BBMP's ₹166 Crore Project Takes Off"

Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has invited bids for the construction of flood protection structures along stormwater drains (SWDs) in the Dasarahalli Zone (Package-1).

The project scope includes the construction of RCC retaining walls, water retention structures, nature-based solution structures, and culverts to enhance flood resilience.

Valued at ₹166.38 crore, the project is part of the Karnataka Water Security and Resilience Programme (KWSRP) and is funded by the World Bank.

The deadline for bid submission is April 15, 2025.
