Pune's ₹186 Cr Water Boost: Bids Open for New 125 MLD Treatment Plant

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has invited bids for the construction of a 125 million litres per day (MLD) capacity Water Treatment Plant (Phase-III) at Vadgaon, Pune, Maharashtra.

The project will be executed on a lump sum turnkey basis and includes the design, supply, construction, trial run, and commissioning of the plant. The selected contractor will also be responsible for operation and maintenance of the facility for a period of seven years.

All components necessary for the successful commissioning and delivery of the plant, capable of producing 125 MLD of potable water, are considered to be included in the bidder’s quoted price.

The estimated project cost is ₹186.92 crore, with a completion timeline of 30 months.

Deadline for tender submission: 17 June 2025.
