The Water Resources Department (WRD), Madhya Pradesh, has invited bids for the turnkey construction of the Dehra Dam on Dehra Nala, a tributary of the Bina River, with a minimum gross storage capacity of 72.36 MCM, located in the Sagar district.
The project scope also includes the construction of the Semraghat Weir on the Dhasan River with a minimum storage capacity of 6.51 MCM and a maximum submergence area of 1,034 hectares. Additionally, a 4 MW powerhouse is to be developed at Dehra Dam, along with a feeder channel and regulating structure connecting the Dhasan River to Dehra Nala.
The work involves detailed surveying, preparation and approval of construction designs and drawings, and execution of all associated civil, mechanical, and electrical components required for the construction of the dam, weir, and powerhouse.
The estimated contract value is ₹383.44 crore, with a completion timeline of 36 months.
The deadline for bid submission is 16 June 2025.
