GMDC EOI: Building the Gujarat Rare Earths Downstream Hub

Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) has invited expressions of interest (EOIs) from qualified hub or industrial estate developers to design, build, finance, operate, and maintain the Gujarat Rare Earth Elements (REE) downstream hub.

The initiative seeks to establish a safe, compliant, and investment-ready industrial ecosystem that fosters domestic REE value addition and supports downstream industries at globally competitive costs. The selected developer will be responsible for detailed engineering, construction of trunk infrastructure, common utilities, environmental systems, and shared facilities, ensuring both operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Through this partnership, GMDC aims to accelerate the development of a robust REE value chain in Gujarat, attract investments, and strengthen the state’s industrial capabilities. 

The EOI submission window is open until 20 January 2026.
