Lodha's Jogeshwari Jackpot: 3.4 Acres Secured!

Real estate firm Lodha, registered as Macrotech Developers, is set to acquire a 3.4-acre land parcel in Mumbai’s Jogeshwari West from pharmaceutical company Unichem Laboratories for over Rs 279 crore.

Located at Prabhat Estate off Swami Vivekananda Road, the property previously served as Unichem’s registered office but was not used for business operations. Unichem has since relocated to Kandivali West. While the deal is yet to be finalized and officially registered, Unichem’s Board of Directors has approved the land’s monetization.

The acquisition supports Lodha’s strategy to expand in Mumbai’s western suburbs, where it has already developed projects in Borivali, Kandivali, Andheri, Versova, Malad, and Juhu. The company plans to transform the Jogeshwari land into a premium residential development.
