RPG Life Sciences is spinning off its Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) business into a wholly-owned subsidiary, RPG Active Pharma, to create a focused and operationally flexible platform. To fuel this expansion, the company has partnered with private equity firm InvAscent, which will make an initial investment of up to Rs 243 crore as part of a broader plan involving up to Rs 700 crore in multi-tranche investments.
