Torrent Pharmaceuticals will Manufacturing Bulk Drugs in Gujarat

Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited is proposing an expansion of its existing bulk drugs manufacturing unit at Indrad, Mehsana, Gujarat. The expansion aims to increase the production capacity of APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients), which are essential components used in the pharmaceutical industry. The project will involve the construction of additional facilities and the installation of new machinery and equipment.

Project: Bulk Drug Manufacturing Unit Expansion, Indrad, Mehsana, Gujarat, Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited. Project cost 3.9 Cr, Existing API production capacity 4.83 MT/Month (58 MT/Annum), Proposed API production capacity 0.84 MT/Month (10 MT/Annum), Total proposed API production capacity 5.67 MT/Month (68 MT/Annum India produces more important APIs, Used less imported APIs, Helping India manufacture APIs independently. Employment and company growth boost the local economy. Improved Gujarati pharmaceutical industry.

As on November 2023,The project is now in the stage of receiving approvals. The project has received all necessary clearances. By the end of the year 2023, development on the project will have begun.
