The Assam Electricity Grid Corporation has invited bids for the construction of a new 400/132 kV Umrangshu Grid substation and its associated transmission system in the Dima Hasao district. Scheduled for a two-year execution period, this infrastructure project is designed to strengthen the regional transmission network, improve power evacuation, and expand Assam's high-voltage transformation capacity. The deadline for bid submissions is October 16, 2026.
