Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation (KPTCL) has floated a tender for setting up two 100 MVA, 220/110/11 kV substations at Tekkalakote (Konchigere) village, along with the development of associated transmission infrastructure.
The project includes construction of 220 kV and 110 kV transmission lines measuring 59.887 km and 56.252 km, respectively, across Siruguppa Taluk and Ballari district. It also covers the creation of multiple transformer bays: two 220 kV bays at existing substations in Somasamudra and Sindhanuru, two 110 kV bays at Sirigeri Cross, one at Siruguppa substation, and an additional 110 kV bay at Kurugodu substation—all to be executed on a turnkey basis.
The estimated cost of the contract is ₹153.64 crore, and bids must be submitted by 29 May 2026.
