Reliance Infrastructure (RInfra) is set to strategically expand into renewable energy manufacturing by establishing integrated solar panel and battery production units. This initiative aims to boost solar panel production, with a focus on energy storage solutions through the development of an integrated battery manufacturing unit, targeting both grid applications and electric mobility.
In addition, Reliance Nu Suntech, a subsidiary of Reliance Power, has been awarded a significant 930 MW solar energy project with battery storage by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). The project, secured through an e-reverse auction, will feature a minimum storage capacity of 465 MW/1,860 MWh powered by solar energy. Furthermore, the company is advancing 1,270 MW of renewable energy projects in Bhutan.
