Khedar’s Big Win: Coal Allocation Secured for New Thermal Unit

Haryana Power Minister Anil Vij has announced the installation of a new power unit at the Rajiv Gandhi Thermal Power Plant in Khedar village, Hisar district.

The project has received the required coal allocation, a crucial milestone for setting up a thermal power unit. During his visit to Hisar, Minister Vij said that coal clearance is a mandatory prerequisite and that, with the approval now in place, the project will move forward as planned.

The minister also drew attention to the issue of substations getting submerged during the monsoon season, which has led to power disruptions in several areas. He stated that steps are being taken to raise such substations and implement measures to prevent waterlogging and ensure uninterrupted power supply in the future.

Additionally, Minister Vij assured residents that there are currently no plans to increase electricity tariffs in the state. Local BJP leaders, including Dr. Asha Khedar, were present during the visit.
