Apraava Expands Renewable Infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh

Apraava Energy has successfully secured a bid for a new greenfield interstate transmission project in Madhya Pradesh, following a competitive bidding process overseen by the Government of India.

The project involves the establishment of approximately 40 km of 765 kV double-circuit transmission lines alongside a 3,000 MVA substation. Operating under a transmission service agreement (TSA), Apraava Energy will execute the project under the build, own, operate, and transfer (BOOT) model within a designated timeframe of 24 months from the transfer of the special purpose vehicle (SPV). The primary objective of the project is to address the increasing power demands within the state.

Apraava Energy will oversee all aspects of the project's lifecycle, including ownership, financing, development, design, engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), commissioning, operation, and maintenance (O&M). Additionally, the company will provide transmission services for a duration of 35 years post-commercial operation date (COD).

Furthermore, Apraava Energy has also secured two similar greenfield interstate transmission projects in Rajasthan, underscoring its commitment to expanding its portfolio of low-carbon infrastructure initiatives.
