HFE Unveils Groundbreaking Green Hydrogen Projects

Hero Future Energies (HFE), a pioneering force in renewable energy development, is spearheading initiatives to harness the potential of green hydrogen in India. As an integral part of the esteemed Hero Group, HFE is on the cusp of unveiling groundbreaking green hydrogen projects, with anticipated announcements forthcoming in the near future as discussions evolve into tangible endeavors.

The company is actively forging partnerships and engaging with diverse stakeholders nationwide to identify and seize promising project opportunities. Embracing a multifaceted approach, HFE envisions leveraging green hydrogen both to supplant traditional materials in conventional applications and to directly cater to consumer needs.

In collaboration with Ohmium International, a leading electrolyser manufacturer based in Bangalore, HFE is poised to establish 1,000 MW of green hydrogen production facilities across India, the UK, and Europe. These facilities hold the potential to revolutionize energy consumption patterns by integrating green hydrogen into the city gas distribution (CGD) system and facilitating its adoption in heavy-duty mobility, thus bringing environmentally sustainable solutions closer to the end consumer.

With a robust global portfolio encompassing three GW of renewable energy assets spread across India, Ukraine, and Vietnam, including operational and under-construction projects, HFE continues to expand its reach. Additionally, the company has an ambitious pipeline of two GW of projects spanning the aforementioned regions as well as the UK and Bangladesh, reaffirming its commitment to driving the transition towards a greener, more sustainable future on a global scale.
