Matrix & Gensol Champion Green Hydrogen With PLI Scheme Grant

Matrix Gas and Renewables, in collaboration with Gensol Engineering, proudly announces the allocation of manufacturing capacity for an advanced electrolyser plant.

This milestone project, boasting a manufacturing capacity of 63 MW per annum, is strategically poised to significantly bolster India's ambitions of producing five million tonnes of green hydrogen annually by 2030. The capacity allocation comes as part of the sustainable hydrogen innovation and green hydrogen technologies (SIGHT) program, tranche-I of the production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme, under the National Green Hydrogen Mission.

In this endeavor, Gensol is committed to forging global partnerships, fostering technological exchange, and driving innovation. This initiative marks a pivotal moment in advancing global energy sustainability through the widespread adoption of green hydrogen.

Matrix Gas and Renewables’ consortium has been recognized for its exceptional technological prowess and extensive manufacturing experience. Electrolyser manufacturing stands as a cornerstone of its strategic vision, seamlessly aligning with the company’s objective of facilitating large-scale decarbonization through the deployment of green hydrogen production plants. This commitment extends to encompassing engineering, procurement, commissioning, as well as build-own-operate (BOO) models.
