NMRC Invites ₹1,267 Cr Tender for Aqua Line Metro Expansion

Noida Metro Rail Corporation has issued a tender for the design and construction of an elevated viaduct and 10 elevated metro stations under the expansion of the Aqua Line.

The project includes the extension of the Aqua Line from Botanical Garden to Noida Sector 142, as well as from the Depot Station to the Boraki Multi-Modal Transport Hub. The scope of work covers detailed design, engineering, and construction of elevated metro infrastructure, including viaducts and station facilities along the proposed alignment.

The contract will be executed under a part design-and-construction model and includes civil construction, structural engineering, and architectural finishing works. The selected contractor will also be responsible for preparing outline designs and construction specifications while ensuring compliance with metro rail technical standards.

Estimated at approximately ₹1,267 crore, the project has a planned construction period of 36 months. Once completed, the extension is expected to improve connectivity, strengthen metro network capacity, and enhance public transportation access across rapidly developing urban corridors in the National Capital Region.

The last date for submission of bids is 12 June 2026.
