Bid Now for Western Railway's BG Line Expansion!

Western Railway is currently seeking bids for earthwork and blanketing in embankment/cutting for the formation of a new broad gauge (BG) line. This project encompasses various tasks such as earthwork and blanketing in embankment/cutting, including yards and bridge approaches. It also involves the construction of bridge works (minor/rub-foundation, substructure, and superstructure) in accordance with the Railway's approved designs and drawings. Furthermore, the scope includes the development of retaining/boundary/toe walls and the supply and spreading of machine-crushed stone ballast.

Additionally, the project entails laying and linking of BG track for the mainline, loop lines, points, and crossings, as well as transportation of permanent way materials, rail welding, and other related miscellaneous works. The project is divided into two sections: the Dhar (excluding) to Amjhera (including) section (27.55 km) as part of the new BG line project between Dahod and Indore of Ratlam Division, and the Tirla-Maphatpura section (1.50 km) as part of the new BG line project between Chhota Udaipur and Dhar of Vadodara Division.

The estimated contract value is approximately Rs 273.72 crore, with a scheduled completion period of 18 months. Interested parties are required to submit their bids by 12th March 2024.
