RailTel Speeds Up South Central Railway with Rs 20 Crore Order

South Central Railway has awarded major public sector business RailTel Corporation of India Limited a large work order. The Rs 20.22 crore contract deploys IP-MPLS for telecommunications spanning 523 Route Kilometers (RKM) in Secunderabad. By June 18, 2025, this project will demonstrate RailTel's dominance as a telecom infrastructure provider in urban and rural India.

RailTel, a "Mini Ratna (Category-I)" PSU, has a Pan-India optic fiber network. This network is vital to national telecommunications services. The company's recent project with South Central Railway intends to improve Secunderabad division connectivity and efficiency for commuters and railway operations.

The company's history of delivering crucial telecom solutions shows it can handle challenging projects on time and within budget. This recent contract strengthens RailTel's position as a leader in transportation connection infrastructure.
