Airfloa x Janatics: Engineering the Next Generation of Rail Doors

Airfloa Rail Technology has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Janatics Industrial Automation to jointly develop and supply automatic door systems for railway applications, including Freight EMUs and Vande Bharat platforms.

The collaboration will cover a range of products such as double-leaf plug doors, automatic single-leaf plug doors, pocket sliding doors, and automatic fire barrier doors. Under the arrangement, Airfloa will lead tender participation, customer engagement, and overall project execution.

The partnership strengthens Airfloa’s presence in the expanding market for automatic door systems, a critical component of modern railway coaches. By broadening its product portfolio, the company aims to play a larger role in both component-level and integrated railway projects, with a focus on disciplined execution, commercial efficiency, and long-term participation in India’s modern railway programmes.
