Mitsu Chem Plast, a leading polymer solutions company, has announced plans to expand its manufacturing operations by commencing production at a new facility in the MIDC Industrial Area, Boisar, in Palghar district, Maharashtra.
The new facility forms part of the company’s long-term growth strategy and will support rising operational requirements. Mitsu Chem Plast currently operates three manufacturing units with a combined capacity of over 29,000 tonnes per annum. As of September 2025, capacity utilisation stood at around 68%, indicating steady demand for its products. The Boisar unit will add 900 tonnes per annum to the company’s manufacturing capacity.
The company plans to invest approximately ₹101 lakh in new machinery for the facility, with the entire investment to be funded through internal accruals. The expansion is expected to improve production flexibility and enhance responsiveness to customer needs. Commenting on the development, the company said the capacity addition supports its strategy to sustain long-term growth and meet evolving market demand.
