The contract, estimated at Rs 265.92 crore, underscores the scale and importance of the undertaking, which is poised to enhance connectivity and facilitate smoother transportation across the region. With a designated timeline of 18 months for execution, SWR aims to ensure timely completion of the project, thereby contributing to the overall development and modernization of railway infrastructure in the area.
The issuance of this tender signifies SWR's commitment to driving forward progress and meeting the growing demands of commuters and industries in the region. By investing in critical infrastructure projects such as the Tumakuru-Rayadurga new line, SWR seeks to not only enhance connectivity but also stimulate economic growth and create employment opportunities in the surrounding communities.
Interested parties are invited to participate in the bidding process, with the due date for submission set for 11 September 2024. This presents an opportunity for contractors and stakeholders to engage with SWR and contribute their expertise towards the successful realization of this transformative railway project.
